ELIA BEACH MYKONOS
Once a quiet spot ELIA has long since been discovered not
least since a water park was built nearby. Regarded by many as the best beach on
the island it is a long, broad swathe of coarse sand backed by a steep circle of
hills and split by a rocky headland. The sand turns to sharp pebbles under the
sea. It has some very attractive restaurants and tavernas like the ELIA
RESTAURANT and is usually the last stop for many of the water taxis
that frequent the southern shore. Another favourite with the gays there is also
nude sunbathing at one end of the beach.
Elia beach , a 45-minute caique ride from Platis Yialos and the last regular
stop, is a sand-and-pebble beach with crowds nearly as overwhelming as at
Paradise and minimal shade.
Nevertheless, this is a beautiful beach, and one of the longest on the island
of Mykonos.
It's also accessible by bus but even if you like we can order you ataxi
to tranfer you to mykonos town .
